Multimedia outlet Canal 26, part of the Telecentro group, continues to strengthen its digital presence with a complete overhaul of its technology platform. With TV channels, radio stations, and online media, Canal 26 has established itself as one of Argentina's most important media groups.

Its website, www.canal26.com, launched in 2005, has grown steadily in audience and reach. For years, it ran on a proprietary CMS hosted in its data center. However, the exponential growth in traffic in recent years presented a new challenge: to have a more scalable, modern, and optimized infrastructure to keep up with digital demand.

In early 2025, Canal 26 made a strategic decision: to migrate its digital ecosystem to ArcXP, the Washington Post's content platform, and to rely on Ingala as its technology partner to lead the migration and implementation project.

The process involved migrating more than 400,000 news articles and completely rebuilding the site on the new CMS. In just four months, the technical team managed to reproduce all sections and functionalities, incorporating components developed with a focus on performance, SEO, and Core Web Vitals, based on best practices in the web ecosystem and Ingala's Custom repository for ArcXP.

The results were immediate: the site saw a 25% improvement in loading times and a 20% improvement in overall performance according to CrUX (Chrome User Experience Report) data. In addition, the new platform allows for faster digital product development, enhancing the user experience and editorial innovation capabilities.

At Ingala, we would like to express our special thanks to Diego Sgro (General Manager) and Roberto Iglesias (Commercial Manager) for their trust and commitment throughout the process. This project represents not only a technological migration, but also a comprehensive digital transformation that positions Canal 26 for a new stage of growth and product development.
